Line of Events
Men and women live in a giant underground tank with a set of rules that they believe protect them from the toxic and ravaged world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the stuff of science fiction. Season one covers the first 30 books of "The Wool" – the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor spin in the wrong direction in various episodes, due to the orientation of the blades.
Just my show
Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Catch (2023). I really liked Silo. I love mysteries and suspense. I haven’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on.
The story is good and interesting
The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are left now live in the tank, and these people have never been outside the tank. They don’t even know what stars are. They know that going outside the tank is fatal.
The acting is good, as is the character development
Some people decide to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the tank can see through the window every time someone wants to get out and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, who is trying to figure out what’s outside the tank and why they can’t get out without dying. However, the pace could be a little slower because there are a few episodes that are filling in.
I’m looking forward to a second season with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s going on outside the tank!
They could definitely have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series is overall very good.
